Finished album, free media, lessons, and more!

SimonBielman.com is back from the dead! It’s been over a month since I’ve sent out a newsletter, but big things have been happening in the meantime. First and foremost, Iconoclassic is now available for purchase from the store via CD Baby! Secondly, more concerts are being planned for the Oregon area and beyond — expect updates on that later on. There have also been a lot of website updates with some neat stuff — check it out!

Website Updates

Store is Online: Iconoclassic has been shipped out to CD Baby for distribution and is finally available for purchase after months of recording, research, and artwork design. The results of all that hard work are fantastic. If you’d like to show your support for my career in any way, buy this album and you won’t regret it!

Media Page: In my blog posts over the last few months, I’ve made sure to upload sample audio of works in progress, newly recorded material, and excerpts for analysis. Now, all of those clips have been organized into one handy Media page, accessible through the navigation bar. As I post new material, new audio clips will be immediately available in the media page as well as in the blog. In the future, I plan to feature video links from YouTube and demonstrations of any music technology I’ve brainstormed (such as the MIDI Keyboard Color Projector).

Lessons Now Offered: I’ve spent the last few weeks tuning my piano and building a nice, comfortable space to give lessons for kids and adults. I’m offering lessons in classical piano/technique, composition, and jazz piano. If you or anyone you know are near the Southeast Portland area and have considered taking lessons as a beginning to advanced student, call me at (206) 790-8090 or send me an email to start right away!

Donate Page: I know there are noble patrons of the arts and supportive music-lovers out there, so I’ve opened this site up for donations. While my career grows and grows, every dollar I get goes towards booking new concerts in the Oregon area, with hopes to expand out to other regions of the country and, eventually, the world. Donations pave the way for more recording, new music, sheet music printing and publishing, advertising, and any other way I can bring music into people’s lives.
